About

An Atlanta native, Ashlea Renee’ has been an avid lover of
the written word all of her life and believes in the gifts and
talents that God has blessed her with. Spending time with
GOD each week led to the weekly devotional of Saturdays
with GOD.

It began as a weekly blog discussing the ups and
downs of being a believer in JESUS CHRIST, encouraging
others to live a purpose driven life. This quickly blossomed
into a Podcast and Vlog. Her first published work is Step Off
the Edge, but there is lots more to come.

Currently Ashlea resides in Metro Atlanta with her daughter, and she enjoys singing, attending church, painting, being with family and of course writing.

“Saturdays with GOD” began as a way for me to rededicate
myself to GOD by setting aside time to spend with HIM

weekly. The older we get, the busier we seem to be, so find-
ing dedicated time and space for GOD becomes crucial. The

wonderful news is that each and every time I gave GOD
space and time, I wasn't disappointed, nor did I walk away
empty-handed. In this book, I am excited to share some of
the revelations and teachings I received from dedicating
time, space, and energy to GOD. Each and every moment
was used to mature me, heal my brokenness, reveal those
hidden places, and strengthen my walk with CHRIST. It may
not be easy, but it is necessary.

I pray that this devotional does even more for you. I encour-
age you to use these moments to carve out your special, pri-
vate time with GOD. It does not matter if you use this devo-
tional daily or weekly, as long as whenever you use it, you

have an expectation of being closer to HIM. Believe that HE
will meet you in your time together as you devote yourself
back to HIM.
